Poplar plywood is ideal for lasercutting, it is low density and lightweight in comparison to birch plywood, also meaning it can be lasercut on lower power settings.

4, 6 and 9mm poplar plywood will typically be B/BB

Both grades may have small knots or patches where knots have been removed and will have grain showing on both sides

Poplar is a cultivated wood grown in Spain that grows quickly, which makes it a very sustainable product

As poplar plywood is a natural wood it can warp and twist this is due to humidity levels and airborne moisture, to help reduce warping we advise storing in a warm environment, free from damp

If using on a laser cutter we recommend taping/strapping to the laser bed before cutting
